Chromic Catgut absorbable neddled surgical sutures (12 piece/box)
IVS InternationalChromic Catgut Suture is a twisted multi-filament structure with a mono-filament appearance. It is a natural surgical gut suture made by twisting together strands of collagenous material taken from the sub-mucosal layers of the small intestine of healthy sheep and goats.
The chromic catgut is processed to provide higher resistance to absorption and treated with chromic salts to delay absorption. Chromic sutures are sterile and elicit only a minimal tissue reaction during the absorption.
